Standard Logic Agrees to Buy Data-Voice Solutions

Standard Logic Inc., a Corona computer maker, announced Friday that it has tentatively agreed to buy privately held Data-Voice Solutions Corp. of Newport Beach in a stock swap.
Using Friday’s closing price for Standard Logic--37-cents per share--the deal was valued at $562,500.
Data-Voice, which had sales of $731,000 in its most recent fiscal year, has developed a multi-user system for transmitting data over telephone lines within an office or factory. The company is privately held.
Standard Logic said the acquisition must be approved by its board and shareholders.
