A safe confiscated by police during a raid on a suspected South-Central Los Angeles fortified “rock house” took three hours to be drilled open, but officers found their efforts worthwhile when they finished counting the $80,652 found inside. Officers found an additional $3,000, a small amount of powder cocaine and three weapons inside the South McKinley Avenue address.
