Ex-Newport Harbor Player Scores Goal as U.S. Beats France in Water Polo

Former Newport Harbor High player James Bergeson scored a goal as the U.S. water polo team beat France, 8-7, in a six-nation tournament in Seville, Spain, on Friday.
Terry Schroeder scored two goals for the U.S. team, which is tied for the lead with Spain with six points each after three rounds. Peter Campbell and Jeff Campbell each added a goal.
The U.S. team plays Greece today and Spain on Sunday.
