Veteran high school coach Dave Peterson, 55, of Minneapolis, was named the U.S. Olympic hockey coach for 1988.
Peterson, who was the head coach at Southwest High School in Minneapolis for 27 years, was an assistant coach for the 1984 Olympic team.
