Hollywood : Drop-In Center Given Funds

The Hollywood Teen Canteen, a drop-in center for homeless and runaway teen-agers, has received $11,677 in state and county funds, according to Supervisor Ed Edelman.
Located at 6278 Hollywood Blvd., the center handles emergency calls, counsels young people, shelters runaways and attempts to persuade youths to return to their homes.
