Pacific Upsets Fullerton in Softball Split

Lisa Fresquez, who pitched at Fullerton College last season, threw a one-hitter with four strikeouts Thursday night to lead the University of the Pacific softball team to a 1-0 upset over top-ranked Cal State Fullerton and a split of a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. doubleheader in The Lodi Complex at Stockton.
The Titans won the first game, 2-0, on Connie Clark’s one-hitter with 12 strikeouts. Joann Ferrieri had an RBI double in the first inning.
