TRASHING SAMMY

As a former rock critic myself, I must criticize your paper’s contributing character assassination of Sammy Hagar. It is both uncalled for and unfair.
Reviews of albums should address music, not personality. The review of Van Halen’s “5150” album should have focused on the songs, not the critic’s disdain for Hagar.
It’s not about Hagar or David Lee Roth, but about Van Halen, and their music on “5150.”
