Pacific Palisades : Recreation Center to Reopen

Ceremonies dedicating a newly refurbished play area at Palisades Recreation Center, 851 Alma Drive, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday.
New playground equipment was purchased with money contributed by more than 250 donors, according to Steven Soboroff, who initiated the fund-raising drive to replace old playground equipment.
Soboroff said that Fred Sands, president of Fred Sands Realtors, and the Palisades Rotary Club were major contributors.
