Tugging at the Heart Strings of Cat Lovers

I was deeply touched by Lansford’s letter. Reading about Pancho certainly tugged the heart strings of every lover of cats, I’m sure.

For the sake of brevity, I won’t relate the daily interaction in our household with our loving cats. My husband and I unwind at the end of a “day at the office” by petting their soft fur and hearing their appreciative purring. The cats seemed to fill a void in our home after our sons grew up and left home and I truly believe that all pets, in their dependence on us, give us a reason for living.
