Businessman Pleads Guilty to Hot Dog Scam

A Beverly Hills businessman accused of bilking at least 30 investors out of more than $400,000 in a phony scheme to build hot dog stands throughout Los Angeles County pleaded guilty this week to grand theft conspiracy. James Lee Casino was ordered to pay restitution before Jan. 30, 1987, or face up to five years in prison.
