CalFed agreed to sell 15 of its branches in Georgia.

The Los Angeles-based savings and loan holding company said it reached a definitive agreement to sell the offices to Liberty Federal of Georgia. No sale price was announced, but the companies said Liberty will be taking over deposits of about $180 million but won’t take over any of CalFed’s mortgage loans or lending operations. California Federal Savings & Loan has branches in California, Nevada, Georgia and Florida.
