Sizzlin Sauce Seeks Win at Los Alamitos

Sizzlin Sauce, a filly seeking her first added-money victory, is one of eight California-bred sophomores entered in tonight’s $19,450 Huntington Beach Handicap in quarter horse racing at Los Alamitos.
James Lackey, who rode Cash Rate to victory in the recent Champion of Champions, will be aboard Sizzlin Sauce in the 350-yard race. Sizzlin Sauce has not won a stakes race but has finished lower than third place only twice in her 16-race career.
Among the other entrants are Lanes Leinster and Chads Charger Bar.
