J. Michael Bollman, a law partner in the San Diego firm of Smith, Bollman and Knoepp for the last 15 years, was appointed Tuesday to the El Cajon Municipal Court bench by Gov. George Deukmejian.
Bollman, 46, is a 1965 graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, and is a member of the San Diego Bar Assn. and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
According to a spokesman in the governor’s office, Bollman, who applied for a judgeship about one year ago, will replace the late Michael W. Brennan.
Bollman’s new position pays $70,436 per year.
