Mitchell Says Thanks

I would like to thank the residents of San Diego for the opportunity to serve our community as an elected representative for the last eight years. My staff and I are proud of the things that we have accomplished during our tenure and would like to recognize that these achievements would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of the leaders within the community. I am confident that District 1 is a better place to live because we shared common goals and concerns and worked together to achieve them.
We have faced some difficult battles and we have won some important victories. Our job has not always been easy, but it has been exciting. And most importantly, it has been rewarding.
Thank you all for an enjoyable and eventful eight years and for the opportunity of making friends throughout our community.
