Volleyball Roundup : Chapman Tops San Francisco State

Pam Winokur had 18 kills Friday night to lead the Chapman College women’s volleyball team to a 15-2, 15-4 15-11 nonconference win over San Francisco State at Chapman.

Allison Jackson added 10 kills and 5 blocks, and Brenda Read had 12 kills for the Panthers, who are 24-14 overall.

Orange Coast 3, Cypress 0--The Pirates defeated the Chargers, 15-5, 15-1, 15-9, in a South Coast Conference match at Orange Coast. Barbara Bally had eight kills and four blocks to lead Orange Coast, which is 11-3 in conference and 13-5 overall.
