19 Boats Have Finished the Race to Cabo

Nineteen of the 48 starters in the Long Beach-to-Cabo San Lucas race had finished by 8 a.m. Wednesday. Fourteen were International Offshore Rule-rated boats; five were Performance Handicap Racing Fleet.

Thre were no further reports as radio communication broke down later in the day.

IOR boats that had completed the 800-mile course were Blondie, Citius, Lean Machine, Joss, Merlin, Cheetah, Saga, Prima, Kathmandu, Ragtime, Anthem, Cheval, Winterhawk and Strider.

All of the Class A PHRF boats had finished: Re-Quest, Grand Cru, Pericus, Ariel and Bolero.

Corrected-time results will not be computed until all boats have finished.
