UCLA Women Turn Back Taiwan, 94-77

The UCLA women’s basketball team defeated the Taiwan national team, 94-77, Wednesday night in an exhibition game at Pauley Pavilion.

UCLA Coach Billie Moore said: “I thought we did some good things, but we’ve got a long way to go . . . We had some question marks about our inside game, but I thought our inside people played a pretty solid game.”

Forward Dora Dome led all scorers with 23 points, guard Anne Dean had 16 points and forward Shari Biggs came off the bench to add 11.
