Ohio State All-America tailback Keith Byars is probably going to sit out Saturday’s game against Wisconsin, Coach Earle Bruce said. Byars broke a bone in his right foot on Labor Day.
Byars sat out the first five games but gained more than 100 yards against Purdue. He reinjured the foot the following week against Minnesota and missed the last two games.
Team physician Dr. Robert J. Murphy said Byars might be ready for the regular-season finale at Michigan.
