The Pasadena City College Board of Trustees has approved a 4% raise for its 700 full-time employees. A college spokesman said 85% of the college’s $43-million annual budget is allocated for salaries.
Meanwhile, the college is completing a one-year survey of all its departments in preparation for an accreditation examination in November. The accreditation, required every 10 years to assure that the school meets educational standards, will be performed by a team appointed by the state Department of Education, the spokesman said.
