A bargaining session that began Monday morning between Chrysler and the United Auto Workers continued into the next day and night with the sides still unable to reach a settlement of the weeklong strike by 70,000 Chrysler workers in the United States. The UAW reported some progress in the all-night talks, but refused to predict when the strike may end. The sides are far apart on several key issues.
