Construction of an $8-million office building for Tustin’s Healthcare Medical Center has begun and is scheduled for completion next October, according to the Santa Ana contractor in charge of the project.
The four-story, 57,000-square-foot office building, which will provide space for the medical center’s ambulatory care services as well as about 20 office suites for leasing to physicians, will be built by Gentosi Bros., Inc. Two separate units will be built at the location, 14662 Newport Ave., and will be connected by a four-story atrium and lobby, according to a company spokesman. The facility’s owner is Healthcare International of Austin, Texas.
