A 15-year-old Agoura Hills boy was arrested and held on suspicion of arson after he allegedly set a half-acre brush fire Monday in Agoura Hills, a Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman said.
A witness pointed out the boy to sheriff’s deputies after he allegedly was seen starting a fire about 3 p.m. in the 28600 block of Conejo View Drive. The blaze was quickly extinguished by Los Angeles County fire crews, and no structures were damaged.
The boy’s name was not released because of his age, the spokesman said.
