David Erickson has been named president of Doyle-Van Fossen Advertising in Laguna Hills. He had been senior vice president since January 1984 and was an account supervisor with McCann-Erickson for at least two years before joining Doyle-Van Fossen. Erickson, 38, replaces E.B. Van Fossen, who suffered a stroke in January. Van Fossen co-founded the agency in 1981.
