Kudos to Dist. Atty. Ira Reiner for his proposed new sanctions for air polluters. Once again, Reiner practices his policy of protecting the public.
It is unconscionable the way many oil companies have violated pollution laws because a small fine is much cheaper than paying for proper equipment. Corporate irresponsibility and greed go hand in hand.
