If Al Martinez is so appalled at the Northridge “redevelopment program” and the ousting of Latinos, then let Al Martinez move into that slum area with his family.
Since when is the word poor synonymous with the word pride ? There’s enough money in that “community” to buy drugs and six packs of beer. How do I know? Drive around that area; the streets are littered with empties.
Show me a concerned people and I’ll show you sympathy and empathy. Show me a people who don’t give a damn and I won’t give a damn either.
Sorry, Al. You missed the boat (on this one).
