ISTANBUL, Turkey — A bomb exploded near an office of the Israeli airline El Al, shattering its front window but causing no injuries or other damage, police reported Wednesday.
Authorities said there has been no claim of responsibility for the explosion.
An Istanbul police official said a plainclothes policeman saw a package with Arabic writing on it near the office late Tuesday night, and it exploded while he was telephoning a report.
