Garden Grove : Bank Robber Sought by Police and the FBI
- Share via
Garden Grove police and the FBI are looking for a robber who took $1,500 from the Security Pacific National Bank at 12421 Valley View Road and fled on foot.
Without displaying a weapon, the robber approached a teller about 3 p.m. Monday and demanded cash, police said.
He was described as a dark-haired Caucasian in his early 20s, between 5 feet, 10 inches and 6 feet tall, about 150 pounds, clean shaven and wearing a light blue shirt.
An FBI agent said authorities will review films of the holdup to determine if the robber is the same man who walked into Citizens Bank in Costa Mesa on Aug. 15, threatened a teller and walked out with about $1,000.
Descriptions of the suspects in both cases were similar.
