Klan Denied March on Highway

ATLANTA — A federal judge today denied a Ku Klux Klan request for permission to march four abreast along a highway to its annual cross burning Saturday but told the white supremacist group that it could use the sidewalks.
A Klan spokesman said the group will appeal the decision of U.S. District Judge Robert Hall ordering the marchers not to block traffic along Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain by marching in one lane of the highway.
