Developers Plan Mall in May Co.

Remodeling of the May Co. Mission Valley Department Store in San Diego and lease of its lower floor for a $5-million Le Marche mini-mall of specialty shops, gourmet restaurants and entertainment areas will begin in November, with completion of the mall scheduled next spring.
Developer of Le Marche, to be patterned after Quincy Market in Boston, and South Street Seaport/Fulton Market in New York City, is Berger-Socoloske Partnership. LDM Realty Services is the leasing agent and Camdi International is project design consultant.
