Condominiums Open Today in Long Beach

Park Broadway, a 24-unit condominium project of Western Development Co. three blocks from the beach, opens today in Long Beach with eight units sold.
Priced from $78,900 to $132,900, the units are offered in four floor plans with one or two bedrooms and 725 to 1,200 square feet. The units are situated in a three-story, contemporary-style building and are expected to be ready for occupancy in mid-September.
City mortgage-revenue bond financing is available at 10.15% to 10.75% interest for 30 years and 5% down to buyers with incomes of up to $47,000 a year. The monthly homeowners fee ranges from $82 to $95.
The sales office, staffed by the Brooks/Thompson Co., and a furnished model are open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 1739 E. Broadway.
