Work on Irvine’s Tallest Building Ahead of Schedule

The city of Irvine’s tallest structure--the 16-story 2600 Michelson office building--has been topped out ahead of schedule.
Completion of the $70-million, 327,000-square-foot building at the northwest corner of Michelson Drive and Teller Avenue is scheduled for next May, according to a spokesman for Transpacific Development Co., the Torrance-based developer.
Gin Wong Associates/Architects, designed the six-sided, granite-clad tower and C.L. Peck Contractors is the general contractor. The leasing agent is Cushman & Wakefield, Newport Beach.
