Motorist Killed as Car Runs Off Ventura Freeway in Burbank

A Los Angeles man was killed early Saturday when his car ran off the Ventura Freeway in Burbank at a high speed, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
James Franklin Harris Jr., 32, was dead at the scene after being thrown from his car in the 2:45 a.m. crash, Officer Janet Engler said.
Harris was driving east on the freeway at Buena Vista Street when his car missed a curve, went over the side and overturned, Engler said.
No other vehicles were involved.
