Southern Businessman Named to Farm Agency

WASHINGTON — Harris D. Blake, a Pinehurst, N.C., businessman and twice an unsuccessful Republican candidate for Congress, was selected by Agriculture Secretary John R. Block Thursday as the No. 2 official in the Farmers Home Administration.
