Young Man Robs Bank: A young man in a white shirt and shorts threatened a teller at the Citizens Bank in Costa Mesa around noon Thursday and walked out with more than $1,000, police said. The holdup man was described as being about 25, six feet tall, weighing 170 pounds with brown hair and wearing a silver stud earring. He did not display a handgun, but made a “verbal demand” from the teller, who pushed a silent alarm button as he walked out of the bank, police said.
