An Anaheim man died Wednesday of massive head and chest injuries after being thrown from a customized, three-wheel motorcycle when he failed to make a turn.
Harold Jacob Wagner Jr., 29, was driving west on Commonwealth Avenue in Buena Park at high speed about 12:20 a.m. when he failed to make a turn onto Manchester Avenue, Buena Park Police Detective Terry Branum said. Wagner, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown about 15 feet onto a patch of grass at the corner of Commonwealth and Manchester avenues, Branum said.
He was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he was pronounced dead at 2:50 a.m.
