8 Die in Rush to Watch Lovers Commit Suicide

NEW DELHI — Eight people drowned in a rush to see two lovers attempt to commit suicide, the Press Trust of India news agency said today.
It said a boat carrying about 60 pilgrims overturned when passengers ran to one side to see the couple throw themselves into the holy Chandrabhaga River in western India.
