Local News in Brief : Body Found Beside Hollywood Freeway

The decomposed body of a man was found by a weed-clearing crew Monday alongside the Hollywood Freeway near Lankershim Boulevard, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
There were no clues to the man’s identity, and it could not be determined how he had died. “The body had been there for quite some time and was very decomposed,” a police spokesman said.
