Child molesting charges against two of five suspects in an alleged child sex ring will be dismissed for lack of evidence, Sacramento County Dist. Atty. John Dougherty said. The cases to be dropped involve Roberto Cuevas Jr. and John Holman, 36. According to court records, children aged 4 to 9 were forced to engage in sex acts after mock weddings. One alleged victim said men paid $55 to $86 to participate in the sex acts. The alleged victims said they frequently were forced to engage in sex acts which were photographed by adults. Dougherty said he will continue to prosecute the cases against Arthur Dills, 33; Veryl Baker, 59, and Alan Arbuckle, 29, who have pleaded innocent.
