ANIMATED SPIELBERG

Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment has joined forces with Don Bluth (“The Secret of NIMH”) to produce “An American Tail,” an animated feature concerning an immigrant mouse.

According to a spokesman for Bluth, who will direct: “We’ve been talking with Spielberg for some time. He found the project for us, as he’s very fond of animation. We’ve been negotiating since December.”
