An intruder entered a Northridge home early this morning and shot and seriously wounded a man and his wife in their bed, police said.
Christopher Petersen, 38, was hospitalized in stable condition; his wife Virginia, 27, was in serious but stable condition. Both suffered head wounds. The couple’s 4-year-old daughter was unharmed, police said. Investigators had no motive for the shootings, saying there were no signs that the house had been ransacked or that any items had been stolen.
