Cal Lutheran Names New Sports Publicist

James Buccheim has been named sports information director at Cal Lutheran College, effective Aug. 15.
A native of Iowa and a recent graduate of Wartburg College, Buccheim worked as an intern at Cal Lutheran last summer.
His duties will include media relations and promotional activities for the college’s 14 intercollegiate athletic teams. In addition, Buccheim, the editor-in-chief of his college newspaper, will assist in the public information office as a writer.
