Fall on 55 Freeway Fatal to Motorcyclist

A Riverside man was killed Friday morning when his motorcycle fell in front of an oncoming car on the Costa Mesa Freeway in Orange.
Patrick L. McAllister, 29, was changing lanes on the southbound 55 Freeway just north of Lincoln Avenue at 5:30 a.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol said.
The driver of the car was not injured.
