AIDS-stricken actor Rock Hudson was described as being in good spirits and resting comfortably at UCLA Medical Center, where his condition remained fair and stable after being upgraded from serious a day earlier. A spokeswoman said Hudson was not yet allowed to have visitors, but that his doctors were assessing the situation on a day-to-day basis in order to determine when friends can drop by. Phone calls, get-well cards and flowers continued to arrive at the medical center.
