Anaheim Man Killed in Crash

An Anaheim man died early Thursday morning when the car he was driving crashed into a guardrail on the Jeffrey Road offramp from the San Diego Freeway in Irvine.
Sol Robbins, who was 71, apparently failed to make the curve and hit the guardrail, Steve Thompson, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol, said. Robbins was dead at the scene of the 1:30 a.m. accident, according to police.
