The San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted 6-4 to support the United Farmworkers Union’s latest grape boycott. The board’s action is a protest against the Administration of Gov. George Deukmejian. Cesar Chavez, union head, said the administration of the farm labor law under Deukmejian has “emasculated” the rights of farm workers. The resolution goes to Mayor Dianne Feinstein, who has 10 days to sign it. She declined to indicate what she would do.
