Deal Price Is Winner of Hollypark Feature

Deal Price, after bearing out badly on the final turn, held off heavily favored Sharp Ascent through the stretch Thursday and won the $38,000 feature race for 3-year-old fillies at Hollywood Park.

Ridden by Gary Stevens, Deal Price finished 1 1/2 lengths in front of Sharp Ascent, the 4-5 favorite ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye. Madam Mo, ridden by Martin Pedroza, was third, another 2 lengths back.

Deal Price was timed in 1:35 1/5 for the mile and paid $6.60, $3.20 and $2.80; Sharp Ascent returned $2.60 and $2.20, and Madam Mo paid $3.20 to show.
