James S. Bennett, former general manager at KCBS-TV Channel 2, Thursday was named vice president of programming and production for the domestic television division at Walt Disney Pictures.
Bennett had been with the CBS-owned TV station here since August, 1980. He resigned last March, saying at the time he wanted to consider other career options. At Disney, he will be responsible for developing original programs for syndication.
Also joining Disney’s domestic television division Thursday was Rich Goldman, who was named vice president and general sales manager. He previously worked in sales at WNEV-TV in Boston.
