Consumer Expectations

Re: “Lawyers Blamed for Costly Delays,” I was amazed at this article (April 21) and the response you chose to publish.
Has no one challenged Michael L. Tenzer?
His comment about “rising consumer expectations” is absurd. Would he apply this reasoning to his automobile brakes, the airplane in which he flies, or the weapons being manufactured? I think not. I believe that thought-processes such as his are responsible for many of the imported products we have. When will this line of reasoning cease?
