Commuter Plane Crash-Lands, 1 Hurt

One woman was cut on the head, but 11 other passengers and two crew members were reported uninjured Friday evening when a twin-engine Sun Aire commuter plane crash-landed at Los Angeles International Airport, the Los Angeles City Fire Department reported.
Spokesman Jim Wells said there was no fire, but the aircraft’s underside and one of its propellers was damaged. Five engine companies and an ambulance went to the scene on one of the airport’s south runways.
