Lazers Lose Third Straight as Chicago Wins, 7-6

The Lazers lost their third Major Indoor Soccer League game in a row Thursday night when they were beaten, 7-6, by the Sting at Chicago.
Led by Karl-Heinz Granitza’s two-goal, three-assist performance, the Sting led, 5-1, early in the fourth quarter, then fought off a Los Angeles rally.
Willie Molano scored two goals as the Lazers closed within 6-5, but Chicago’s Neil Roberts grabbed the game-winner with 1:50 remaining.
Stuart Lee scored twice for the Lazers, and Zoran Savic and Poli Garcia each got one goal.
Los Angeles is 18-15, Chicago 19-12.
